Who appointed Justice de Castro? ANSWER: Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

Teresita Jose Leonardo-de Castro (born October 8, 1948) is an Associate Justice of the Philippine Supreme Court. Prior to her appointment to the High Court by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo,[1] she had been the Presiding Justice of the Sandiganbayan[2] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teresita_de_Castro)
De Castro was bypassed for the position of Chief Justice of the SC during the administrations of former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Benigno Aquino III. During her appearance at the committee hearings, Representative Ramon Rocamora asked De Castro if she was in the running for Chief Justice and how she felt when Sereno was appointed, bypassing senior justices. De Castro was appointed to the Supreme Court in December 2007 by Arroyo. (FAST FACTS: Who is SC Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro?
