
Video-Making Contest for Legal Management Students

Contest Overview
Project Jurisprudence - Philippines, powered by NEXXUS, INC., invites all Legal Management (LegMa) Program students of the Isabela State University (ISU) Cauayan City Campus to participate in a video-making contest!
Showcase your creativity and legal insight by submitting a compelling video discussing an interesting case decided by the Supreme Court of the Philippines.
Criteria for Judging
Length: Video must not be less than 90 seconds but not more than 120 seconds.
Story-telling Style: Must follow the dynamic story-telling style of Ray William Johnson. View an example here:

Orientation: Must be a vertical video.
Audio Quality: Must have clear, noiseless audio.
Video Quality: Must have good video quality (plus points for 2K quality but NOT required).
Illustrations: Must use original photos or AI-generated photos as illustrations (i.e., must NOT use existing photos found on the Internet).
Accuracy of Information: Must accurately describe the facts and the legal principles involved in the piece of jurisprudence.
Clarity and Accessible Language: Must clearly explain the case with simple, elementary English understandable even to senior high school students, either in Filipino, English or Taglish.
Limited Comedy: Must limit jokes or punchlines to one or two instances only while maintaining an entertaining tone.
Submission Deadline: Must be submitted on or before June 30, 2025.
Prizes & Announcement
There shall be one (1) champion and two (2) runners up for the contest.
The champion will receive a cash prize of PHP 5,000. The first runner up will get PHP 2,500 and the second runner up will get PHP 1,500. No other runners up will be recognized. (Edited: June 14, 2025 at 7:27 PM.)
A participant can be an individual person or a group of persons, but only one person from a group will be paid. Collaboration and payment distribution within a group shall be an internal matter.
The winner/s will be officially announced on July 1, 2025, through the contest point person.

Note: Video submissions that pass the first level of elimination will be uploaded by Project Jurisprudence - Philippines on its official social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Submission Guidelines
To submit your video, please follow these steps carefully:
- Upload the highest quality of their video submission on Google Drive.
- Restrict access to admin@projectjurisprudence.com as an **editor** (i.e., with the power to download the video).
- Email admin@projectjurisprudence.com with the **subject line**: "LegMa: VIDEO SUBMISSION". The email body must detail:
- The name of the person who shall be considered as the participant and to whose name the prize shall be paid, if won.
- His/Her mobile phone number.
- His/Her year-level.
- His/Her address.
- The email should clearly contain the Google Drive link to your video submission.
