Contracts to be respected as LAW between contracting parties

The parties have stipulated that the provisions of Act No. 3135 is the controlling law in case of foreclosure. By invoking the said Act, there is no doubt that it must govern the manner in which the sale and redemption shall be effected. Clearly, the fundamental principle that contracts are respected as the law between the contracting parties finds application in the present case, specially where they are not contrary to law, morals, good customs and public policy.
