Res Communes

Common things, or res communes, are incapable of appropriation in their entirety. Examples are the ocean, air, sunlight, moonlight and naturally occurring helium in the atmosphere. There is, however, a way to make them capable of appropriation in a limited way. Helium collected or made to inflate balloon and available in tanks are capable of appropriation. Water from the ocean purified or otherwise run through processes of filtering and put in bottles is capable of appropriation.
