Contract of Partnership; Article 1767

Article 1767. By the contract of partnership, two or more persons bind themselves to contribute money, property, or industry to a common fund, with the intention of dividing the profits among themselves.

Two or more persons may also form a partnership for the exercise of a profession. (Civil Code; Republic Act No. 386)

Ang pakikipagsosyo o pakikipagasosasyon ay isang kasunduan kung saan dalawa o higit pang mga tao ang pumapayag na mag-ambag ng pera, ariarian o industriya (kasipagan) para sa isang pondo para sa lahat (common fund). Layunin nilang hatiin ang kita (profits) ng asosasyon sa bawat kasosyo.

Dalawa o higit pang mga tao ay maaaring bumuo ng pakikipagsosyo o pakikipagasosasyon para tupdin ang kanilang propesyon.
