Free speech works; netizen’s FB post makes LGU act


LAW: No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances. (Article III of the 1987 Constitution) This right allows netizens to express their sentiments especially on social medial platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

The Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council responded to a concerned netizen regarding a misaligned footbridge along Mindanao Avenue.

Personnel from the rescue and engineering department arrived at the site to inspect the footbridge.
