When is debt liquidated?

According to Montemayor v. Millora, 670 Phil. 209, 218-219 (2011), a debt is liquidated when its existence and amount are determined or when it is expressed already in definite figures which do not require verification or when the determination of the exact amount depends only on a simple arithmetical operation.
