A total of 1,724 examinees passed the 2017 Bar Examinations out of the 6,748 law graduates who took it. That's one fourth or 25.55% who successfully hurdled what is considered the hardest licensure exams in the Philippines. Here are some moments from the announcement of results at the Supreme Court on April 26, 2018.
35-year-old Ramil Comendador used to be a janitor at the Comelec. He worked his way up to become an elections assistant, the lowest plantilla position while he sent himself to law school at the Universidad de Manila.

Nearly 2,000 out of more than 8,000 takers passed the 2018 Bar Exams. Among those who made it: a graduate of De La Salle University College of Law in Manila, the first from the university to make it to the top 10.
