SC: Judges must be honest at all times
The Supreme Court stresses that judges must adhere to the highest tenets of judicial conduct.[1] Because of the sensitivity of his position, a judge is required to exhibit, at all times, the highest degree of honesty and integrity and to observe exacting standards of morality, decency and competence.[2] He should adhere to the highest standards of public accountability lest his action erode the public faith in the Judiciary.[3][1] Liguid v. Camano, Jr., supra note 8, at 709.
